Location.

The site is located at the town of Saint-Jean-de-Monts on the Atlantic West Coast of France in the Vendee region to the South West of the City of Nantes.  The area also has a sunshine record similar to that of the South of France.  (Find the city of Nantes on a map then strike a line at 45 deg down to the left and where the line crosses the coast is about where St-Jean-de-Monts is). The Site.

Les Amiaux is a 4star site situated just outside the centre of the town (2.3 miles) and 900 metres from 8 kilometers of golden beach.  The site is one of the best in the area with many facilities and is safe for children.  It is also suitable for couples young and older.

St-Jean-de-Monts  the local town just 5 mins (2.3 miles) by car from the site, it has much to offer including many leisure and sporting facilities such as 18 hole golf cours, crazy golf, fishing, tennis, sailing, riding etc., bars, restaurants, shops, tourist shops, 3 types of market, 3 supermarkets, banks, Post Office, bakeries, hairdressers, pharmacies, casino, restaurants, new heated swimming pool, Thermal Baths and treatments, cycle hire, childrens beach clubs, horse riding, Quad bikes, windsurfing,  sand yatching, and much more.  (Internet connection at town library (a small charge) ).

Les Amiaux facilities include individual private mobile home plots with parking, 3 swimming pools   (1 indoor with child pool, 1 outdoor with kiddies splash pool & 1 water chute pool).
